Kecelakaan paling banyak terjadi pukul 15.00-18.00. "Korban pengemudi motor rata-rata berumur 30-40 tahun," ujar Heru.
Karenanya, Polri meminta masyarakat lebih berhati-hati dalam berkendara. "Jangan mengemudi dalam keadaan lelah dan mengantuk," ujar Heru.
Data dari Treffic Management Centre Polri menunjukan jumlah kecelakaan mencapai 1.800 kejadian sejak H-7 sampai dengan H-3. Korban tewas mencapai 270 orang, 463 orang luka berat, dan 1.134 luka ringan. "Kerugian materiil Rp5.999 miliar," ujar Heru
